When an agreed upon scholarship has been reached an adjustment will be made to the remaining monthly payments reflecting the new balance. If we cannot meet your financial need, your deposit and payments will be returned.

Please complete the financial assistance form found on the Forms section of your Parent Dashboard. This form is due within two weeks after your camp application is submitted.

Outside Scholarship Opportunities

PJ Goes to Camp

Summer of 2024

First-time campers who attend an Orthodox Jewish day school are eligible for grants of $500. If they attend a different school, they are eligible for grants of $1,000.

Summer camp can be a transformative experience, providing children with the opportunity to make memories and friendships that last a lifetime. The mission of PJ Goes to Camp is to provide more children the opportunity to attend Jewish overnight camp for the first time by offering grants to qualifying families.

Jewish United FUND of Metropolitan Chicago (JUF)

Jewish Residential Camp Scholarships

Every year Chicago’s Jewish Federation works with Midwest Jewish overnight camps to help families with financial need-based scholarships. JUF scholarships are only available for residents of the Chicago Metropolitan area serviced by Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago (that is, any of the following six counties: Cook, DuPage, Lake, McHenry, Kane and Will).

Local campers may receive either the $500 PJ Goes to Camp grant or a scholarship but not both.
