Rena Spiegel, M.A., CCC-SLP
Rena Spiegel joined the faculty of Blitstein Institute in 2011 as an adjunct professor and became the Chair of the Speech and Communication Disorders department in 2015. Mrs. Spiegel earned her M.A. degree in speech-language pathology from Northwestern University, and a B.A. degree from Binghamton University, State University of New York. She is a certified speech-language pathologist who is licensed in Illinois and has an Illinois Professional Educator’s License. She is a member of the Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and has earned two ASHA awards for continuing education.
Mrs. Spiegel has worked in Northwestern University’s Aphasia and Neurolinguistics Research Laboratory as well as clinics that specialize in reading and spelling treatment. Additionally, for over a decade, she has been providing private individualized speech-language therapy.
