Rabbi Daniel Kanter

Rabbi Daniel Kanter, a native Chicagoan and third generation Yeshiva graduate, graduated from both FYHS ('10) and HTC ('14) before receiving his semicha from Yeshivas Rabbeinu Yitzchak Elchanan (RIETS) and M.A. in Modern Jewish History from Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies. He also later received an M.A. in Jewish Education from Touro University's Graduate School of Jewish Studies. Upon returning to Chicago, he was a Member of the YU Torah Mitzion Kollel before joining the staff of FYHS. In Rabbi Kanter's current role as Director of Student Affairs, his main focus is ensuring the spiritual, mental, and emotional well-being of every student at FYHS.
