Michael Verderame, Ph.D., M.S., M.A., J.D.
Michael Verderame assumed the role of Dean of the Men's Division in August 2023, after working in a variety of teaching and administrative roles at HTC since 2014. His role involves supporting students and faculty while helping to create a culture of academic excellence in both Judaic and secular culture.
A specialist in nineteenth-century British literature, Dr. Verderame maintains an active research agenda. His work has appeared in Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment, Studies in Romanticism, Romanticism and Victorianism on the Net, College Literature, Eighteenth Century: Theory and Interpretation, Green Theory and Praxis, the Modern American Poetry Site, AAUP Journal of Academic Freedom, Climate Change: An Encyclopedia of Climate and History, and Romantic Circles.
Dr. Verderame attended Yeshivat Machon Meir in Yerushalayim. He lives with his wife and three children in West Rogers Park.
