As VP/COO, Sid Singer (FYHS ’90) helps develop HTC’s annual budget while also overseeing areas including IT, HR, security, foodservice, and facilities. In that capacity he has helped HTC develop plans for significant facility upgrades, most notably the planned Blitstein campus expansion. Additionally, his portfolio has included managing HTC’s response to COVID-19; grant writing and reporting for JUF and other foundations; developing and writing HTC’s annual reports; and extensive work on HTC’s website redesign. Prior to his work at the Yeshiva, Sid was COO for Jewish Council for Youth Services, where he oversaw operations for multiple city and suburban preschools and day camps, and Camp Henry Horner/Camp Red Leaf in Ingleside, IL. He previously served as acting director of the Community Foundation for Jewish Education, where he also mentored youth professionals and coordinated an annual 8th grade Israel experience for 200 students. From 2001-2006, Sid served as director of Camp Moshava, where he secured accreditation from the American Camps Association, spearheaded a capital campaign, and oversaw the construction of multiple capital projects, including a new gymnasium and swimming pool. A graduate of Yeshiva University, Sid earned his master's degree in Jewish professional studies from Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership, and also holds a Certificate in Jewish Leadership from Northwestern University's joint program with Spertus.
