Founded on the premise that the survival of Am Yisrael depends on the commitment and erudition of its women, Blitstein Institute for Women (TI) offers a challenging and enriching Torah-based education.  Following the path paved by the חפץ חיים - TI 's mission is to prepare Jewish women as transmitters of lore and ongoing learners, for whom Torah is a passionate raison d’etre. Such women ensure the existence – indeed the flowering – of Yiddishkeit.

TI offers quality academic and professional training for the advancement of Jewish learning. Its programs are guided by דעת תורה and prepare women for a variety of professions, while enriching them with the intellectual skills, cultural sensibilities and ethics that are developed by studying Torah and a strong foundation in the liberal arts and sciences.  The student of TI is guided to live a life that sanctifies the name of Hashem and עם ישראל.

TI offers a comprehensive curriculum leading to a baccalaureate degree with a major in Judaic Studies and options for additional majors in Accounting, Business, Education (elementary and special education), English, Psychology and preparation for professional study in health sciences (Nursing, Physical and Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Pathology).
