For a Ben Torah who is looking for a career in the rabbinate or in other professional fields, our Yeshiva’s Kanter School of Liberal Arts Sciences and Bressler School of Advanced Hebrew Studies is the perfect choice. With our fully accredited liberal arts degree program, we can get you where you want to go.

As Beis HaMidrash LaTorah - Hebrew Theological College - is foremost a Makom Torah, all primary majors in our degree program are in Judaic Studies.  Options for additonal majors include Accounting, Business and Psychology.  Students may also pursue Pre-Law and Pre-Professional Health Studies (Pre-Medicine , Pre-Dental, Pre-Pharmacy)

The College faculty is led by Rabbi Meyers, Dean.  His combined years of yeshiva and college experience ensure a challenging academic program, while creating a yeshiva atmosphere in which all B’nei Torah may succeed. Guidance counseling assists and empowers bochrim in their course planning and career choices.  All courses are held on campus in the classroom wing, a few feet from the Beis Midrash, and delivered by distinguished faculty members from some of the most respected universities in Chicago.
Other options for majors not offered on our campus are attainable through concurrent registration with eminent universities in the Chicago area, among them Northwestern University and Loyola University.  Details are available upon request.

Looking to become a Rabbi?  Our Semicha program is one of the most renowned and oldest in America. Its requirements include intense and thorough study of the Shulchan Oruch and its Meforshim, in addition to regular shiurim dealing with practical Halachic issues.
